In the podcast, “Hacking the Afterlife” that’s on itunes and other places, we talk about process. About accessing people no longer on the planet.

On the webpage MartiniZone.com, there are videos of all of our podcasts, as well as clips from book talks, documentaries on the topic, and other raw footage of filming people talking to loved ones on the flipside.

Another unusual podcast.

Hacking the Afterlife with Jennifer Shaffer, Anthony Bourdain, Robin Williams and Robert Downey Sr.

As we’ve noted in the past, it’s rare that people show up to insist on being interviewed. In this case, it was someone we’d interviewed in the past, in fact a year ago, July 17th, 2020 Anthony Bourdain and Robin Williams stopped by on a podcast named “Exiting Early.” (Anthony and Robin appear in the books “Backstage Pass to the Flipside,” both interviewed extensively.)

But in this case, Anthony wanted to weigh in on the film about his life, called “Roadrunner.”

He says…

I met Wendy Both some years ago. I had read that she was a “pet whisperer” and I was curious what that entailed. I had coffee with her to ask her about her abilities, and she described how and when it started for her — aside from being a successful business woman, she had this “other gift” of “hearing or understanding” the issues a pet might have.

Animal whisperer Wendy Both

She has a thriving business in that field, helps people with all kinds of animals, horses, etc.

Wendy was the first person I met who “spoke telepathically” to animals…

Hacking the Afterlife is LIVE ON THE AIR!

LIVE ON GAIA NOW!!! Ten years of chatting with the afterlife. Jennifer Shaffer, Michael Newton, Scott De Tamble, Kimberly Babcock, Howard Schultz, Bill Paxton, Harry Dean Stanton, Luana Anders, Charles Grodin — all make appearances. As Gary Schwartz PhD put it in the Foreword for “Flipside:” “This is the kind of book once you have read it, you will no longer be able to see the world in the same way again.” The same can be said of this film. …

This is one of those mind bending posts.

I won’t go into all aspects of what happened, but I can only promise you that it did happen. And in the sequence it happened.

This is an unusual podcast (aren’t they all?) https://youtu.be/JNgu8qDJ_iA

From someone I’ve never met, didn’t know, who passed in 1939 talking about what it’s like on the flipside from a film producer’s point of view.

After he showed up, and after I correctly guessed who he was — the medium Jennifer didn’t know who he was, but Amelia Earhart invited him (!) — I looked him up.

Bravo to Mackenzie Scott.

From the flipside research (“Hacking The Afterlife” “Flipside”) we find that out of the most unusual backgrounds, people rise to the occasion to save others. In this instance, one can argue that everything that has happened in her life has led to this moment — and everything in the lifetime of her ex was about finding a way to get funds to her so that she could save lives.

My documentary “Hacking the Afterlife”

Drops in one week. See what over 20 million viewers on Quora have seen (21 and counting) in terms of research and data.

“I’m writing for the future.”

It’s shown up in the research and reports, and I’m just noting it. During a session with Jennifer Shaffer, the medium I work most often with, the one who works with law enforcement agencies nationwide on missing person cases, the one who helped Bill Bratton former NYPD commissioner with a case he was trying to solve — it’s observed in our conversations with the flipside that “this research will be common knowledge eventually.”

One example is the Wright Brothers. Took only 66 years to go from Kitty Hawk to the moon. Prior to the Brothers…

Memorial Day.

It’s a good name for using one’s memory. What is it?

This Lt. JG made it back.

We use the day to commemorate those who have fallen in service to a cause. Who died in battle. We tend to just recall the folks that we knew — perhaps our parents, or grandparents and what they did in battle. I have relatives who fought in wars in Europe, who fought in wars in Asia, who fought in both the great war and world war II, who served in combat as far back as I have family records to consult.
