A CONVERSATION WITH DR. JOHN MACK ON THE FLIPSIDE
Jennifer Shaffer is on holiday, so in lieu of our podcast at HackingTheAfterlife.com I’m posting this unusual conversation with someone off stage.
However, around my place, it’s “all flipside all the time.”
Here’s a post about “the beauty of life” from someone no longer onstage.
My friend doesn’t self identify as a medium but is quite accurate with “reading people” or has vivid dreams from people offstage who give her clear and coherent messages for their loved ones. She happens to be reading a book at the Harvard psychologist Dr. John Mack. (“The Believer”)
Mack was famous for doing extensive studies about people who have had an experience with “meeting alien life forms” — abductions, etc. He gathered as much evidence as he could, started a clinic in Boston where people shared their sometimes intense “abduction” cases. Dr. Mack was a passionate researcher, and it got him in trouble with the authorities at Harvard when one of his cases turned out to be someone angry at him over a slight, and pretended to be an abductee to demonstrate his use of bias.
It’s the kind of comment I often make when doing a guided meditation with someone — “I’m leading you, but that’s because I know where we are going.” There are transcripts in the book DIVINE COUNCILS IN THE AFTERLIFE.
Lest we forget, I’m a filmmaker, I’m not under any restrictions from psychology departments, rules committees to follow protocol or to not…
